GMO OMG Film Screening and Choices 5% donation Day to the Non-GMO Project
On Thursday, October 19th, at 11 am and again at 6 pm, Choices will be offering free screenings of the film GMO OMG, a timely, informative, entertaining, and ultimately insightful documentary about the question that’s a growing concern to citizens around the world: who controls the future of our food? Filmmaker and concerned father Jeremy Seifert is in search of answers about genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and how they affect our children, the health of our planet, and our freedom of choice. His journey takes him to Haiti, Paris, Norway, and even the front door of agri-giant Monsanto, the largest provider of GMOs in the United States, as he poses perhaps the ultimate question about what we eat: is it still possible to reject our current food system, or have we already lost something we can’t get back?
Choices will be donating 5% of our total sales on the day of the screening to the Non-GMO project. The Non-GMO Project is a nonprofit organization committed to preserving and building the non-GMO food supply, educating consumers and providing verified non-GMO choices. They believe that everyone deserves an informed choice about whether to consume genetically modified organisms.
The screening is free, but space is limited, so you must register to attend. Free Non-GMO Verified snacks will be served and we have a limited number of Non-GMO Project reusable canvas shopping bags to give away!

SINCE THERE ARE TWO TIMES FOR THE SCREENINGS, PLEASE INDICATE IN THE MESSAGE FIELD WHETHER YOU WOULD LIKE TO ATTEND THE 11 AM OR 6 PM SHOWING.
