Phillip Raines of Raines Honey Farm in Davis, IL will be at Choices on Saturday, May 31st from 12 noon - 2 pm. There will be a tent in our courtyard where you can meet Phil, ask any and all questions having to do with bees and honey. He will have free homemade sugar scrub and recipe cards to share. In the case of rain, we’ll move him inside to share his knowledge of beekeeping.

Choices has had a long relationship with Phil. His local honey is one of our top sellers. Phillip and Sharon Raines have been beekeeping in Davis, IL for over 20 years, and are one of the largest beekeepers in the state of IL. Their hives are placed on family farms across Northwest Illinois & Southwest  Wisconsin.  Raines Honey Farm is a small one-family operation working to produce pure premium products, using natural and organic components and solutions, instead of chemicals in their hives.
